Taken from the shores of Lake Mendota in Madison, Wisconsin. I had been trying to photograph the Aurora Borealis, but it was very windy and the clouds rolled in and covered up the view. I was about to head home, but I stayed and snapped a few long exposure shots of the clouds quickly moving as well as the waves rolling towards the shore.
